Bombay Industrial Relations Act (extended to Gujarat), 1946

Statutory text

The [State] Government may in respect of any industry—

(a) maintain in the prescribed manner a record of industrial matters covered by Schedules;

(b) require any employer or employers generally to maintain and submit copies of record in such form as may be prescribed of—

(i) data relating to plant, premises and manufacture, (ii) other industrial transactions and dealings, which in the opinion of the [State] Government are likely to affect the matters specified in clause (a).
