Bombay Industrial Relations Act (extended to Gujarat), 1946
(1) The [State] Government may from time to time by notification in the Official Gazette— (a) recognise any combination of employers in an industry [in any local area] whether incorporated or not as an association of employers for the purposes of this Act, provided that, one of the objects of such combination is the regulation of conditions of employment in the industry [in that local area] ; (b) withdraw any recognition granted under clause (a) : Provided that, no recognition shall be withdrawn unless an opportunity has been given to such association of employers to be heard.
