Bombay Industrial Relations Act (extended to Gujarat), 1946
(1) Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, the [State] Government may, at any time on the report of the Labour Officer or on its own motion, refer any industrial dispute between employers and employees to the arbitration of a Labour Court or the Industrial Court. (2) The provisions of this Chapter with such modifications as may be prescribed shall apply to such arbitration. (3) The employers of such employees shall in the prescribed manner be made parties to such arbitration.
