BIRA 83B — Power of labour Court to award costs and execution of order as to costs.—

Statutory text

(1) The Labour Court shall have power to direct by whom the whole or any part of the costs in any proceedings before it shall be paid :

Provided that, no such costs shall be directed to be paid for the services of any legal adviser engaged by any party.

(2) The provisions of section 93 shall also apply to the execution of any orders as to costs made by the Labour Court, as they apply to any such order made by the Industrial Court, with the substitution of the reference to the Labour Court for the reference therein to the Industrial Court.
