East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948

Statutory text

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3 of the [Punjab Alienation of Land Act, 1900 (Punjab Act XIII of 1900),] no exchange of land by a member of an agricultural tribe in pursuance of a scheme of consolidation of holdings shall require the sanction of the Deputy Commissioner under the Act.
