Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1960
(i) Where in consequence of the conversion after the appointed day of any land into any sub-class of (i) or (ii) of section 2, as a result of irrigation from a source constructed by Government, the land held by any person exceeds the ceiling area, or (ii) where in consequences of the amendments made in any of the provisions of this Act by the Amending Act of 1972, the land held by any person on the specified date exceeds the ceiling area, the land so in excess shall be deemed to be surplus land.]
