Letters of request issued by Courts in India for execution in Iran are to be transmitted through the High Court and State Government to the Government of India who will pass them on to the Indian Embassy at Teheran. Note 1.—Letters of request should formally be addressed to the Iranian Ministry of Justice and forwarded to the Government of India along with the list of interrogatories for transmission to Teheran. Note 2.—Letters of request or interrogatories for service in Iran should be accompanied by translation in Persian or by translation fee as laid down below:—

(i) For making or verifying a translation of a document for every 100 words or fraction thereof exclusive of fee for certificate 7/6 plus 25 per cent. =9/6.

(ii) For granting any certificate not otherwise provided for if not exceeding 100 wds exclusive of fee for drawing 10 plus 25 per cent.=12/6.
