Where Indian dates are mentioned in judgments, the corresponding dates according to the Gregorian Calendar should be added. The use of words in regional language should be avoided in judgments when English equivalents of such words can be used without detriment to the sense. If a word in regional language is used its nearest English equivalent should be added in brackets.
