Gujarat High Court Civil Manual (subordinate court practice), 1960
A final order should be made upon every application for execution. Such order may also provide for costs. The final order may be, for example, the dismissal of the application, as provided by Order XXI, rule 57, or an order that no further proceedings are required or can be taken. An order that the application is struck off or that it is consigned to the record is not a satisfactory order. No final order should be made in any case unless the decreeholder or his lawyer is present, or has had an opportunity of appearing and applying for an adjournment or for taking further proceedings.
