Statutory text

The record of every proceeding in Class I shall be arranged and kept in the following files : File 'A' shall contain the following papers, which shall be arranged in the following order :—

(a) Plaint or Petition, (b) Judgment or final order, (c) Preliminary and final decree, and (d) Any other papers which the Presiding Judge may with the previous permission of the District Judge order to be placed in file 'A'. File 'B' shall contain—

(a) Summons or notice with return thereof, in cases in which an ex parte order is passed against the defendant.

(b) Written Statements.

(c) Interrogatories and their answers.
