In addition to the powers conferred and duties imposed under the Provincial Small Cause Courts Act, 1887, and also in addition to the duties of the Clerk of the Court of the District Judge and Civil Judge, the Registrar of the Court of Small Causes may perform the following duties :— 1. Issuing processes on changed addresses. 2. Passing orders regarding payments of amounts deposited in the court in decided proceedings. 3. Passing orders regarding payments of amounts deposited in the Court in pending proceedings when the party depositing the amounts consents to the payment being made. 4. Signing refund certificates. 5. Revalidating refund orders. 6. Carrying on routine correspondence with officers below the rank of a District Judge. 7. Authenticating amendments in the register of suits.
