The official directly responsible for the work of the bailiffs is the Nazir. In order to see whether that responsibility is fully realized, the presiding Judge must occasionally inspect the bailiff's work. As illustrating one of the ways in which this may be done the following mode of inspection is suggested. Taking— (a) the "Kamgiri book"; (b) the Nazir's book (attendance roll which should show what bailiffs were in attendance on the Court each day and were engaged in outside work); (c) the Darkhast Register;
