Statutory text

[1] (1) No person shall exercise the rights of a member of a society, until he has made such payment to the society in respect of membership, or acquired such interest in the society, as may be prescribed by the rules, or the bye-laws of such society. [2] (2) The person who has committed a default and remains as such defaulter in making repayment of loan or interest thereon for a period of one year from the due date of repayment of such loan or interest or installment shall not be entitled to exorcise voting rights of a member of a society till all such repayments are made.]
