Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Provincial Insolvency Act, 1920, or any corresponding law for the time being in force, the dues of a society form a member, in insolvency proceedings against him, shall rank in order of priority next to his dues to Government or to a local authority.
