Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961
Subject to the provisions in this Act and rules, the final authority of every society shall vest in the general body of members in general meeting, society in such manner as may be specified in the bye-laws: Provided that, where the bye-laws of a society provide for the election of delegated of such members, the authority may vest in the delegates of such members elected in the prescribed manner, and assembled in general meeting.
