Gujarat Fisheries Act, 2003
(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the offence punishable under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 21 or under any rule made under section 6 shall be cognisable. (2) No court shall take cognisance of any offence punishable under clause (b), (c), (d) or (e) of sub-section (1) of section 21 except on a report in writing made by the Enforcement Officer under section 15.
