Gujarat Land Revenue Code, 1879
Every notice under this act, unless it is otherwise expressly provided, shall be served either by tendering or delivering a copy thereof to the person on whom it is to be served or to his agent, if he have any ; or by affixing a copy thereof to some conspicuous place on the land, if any, to which such notice refers. No such notice shall be deemed void on account of any error in the name or designation of any person referred to them, unless when such error has produced substantial injustice.
