Gujarat Land Revenue Code, 1879
The '[[[State] Government] may authorise the Collector or the officer in charge of a survey or such other officer as '[it] deems fit to fix such rates as '[it] may from time to time deem fit to sanction, for the use, by landlolders and other persons, of water, the right to which vests in '[the '[Government]], '[and in respect of which no rate is leviable under the Bombay Irrigation Act, 1879]. Such rates shall be liable to revision at such periods as '[the '[State] Government] shall from time to time determine, and shall be recoverable as land revenue.
