Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963
Whoever does or omits to do an act in contravention of any provisions of this Act or the bye-laws made thereunder or the conditions of a licence permission granted by a municipality under the said provisions or bye-laws shall if such act or omission is not an offence under the said provisions or bye-laws, be punished with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees and with further fine which may extend to ten rupees for every day on which act or omission continues after the date of the first conviction.
