Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963
The municipality so entrusted under section 93 shall be responsible for the recovery and collection of the land revenue (including cesses) and other dues of the borough in accordance with the provisions of the Land Revenue Code and the rules, instructions and orders made or issued thereunder and the law relating to the collection of such cesses.
