Gujarat Money-Lenders Act, 2011
The Registrar General, Registrar, Assistant Registrar and any officer authorized under section 19 shall have and exercise the same powers for the purpose of making inquiries under this Act as are vested in Courts under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in respect of the following matters, namely:-- (a) enforcing the attendance of any person as a witness and examining him on an oath; (b) compelling the production of documents and material objects; (c) issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses; and (d) proof of facts by affidavits.
