Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993
If under clause (a) of item 4 of Schedule 1, a village panchayat incurs any expenditure on watch and ward of the village and of the crops therein the cost of such watch and shall be levied and recovered by the panchayat from such persons and in such manner (including the levying of a fee) as may be prescribed.
