Whilst the execution of any work on behalf of the Corporation is in progress in any street, the Commissioner shall, so far as may be reasonably practicable, make adequate provision for the passage or diversion of traffic for securing access to all premises approached from such street, and for any drainage, watersupply, or means of lighting which may be interrupted by reason of the execution of the said work.
