Statutory text

(1) If the State Government is satisfied that it is necessary in the interest of the maintenance of public order so to do, it may by general or special order, prohibit or restrict throughout the State of Gujarat or any part thereof all meetings and assemblies of persons for the purpose of training or drilling themselves or being trained or drilled to the use of arms, or for the purpose of practising military exercises, movements or evolutions, or for the purpose aforesaid of attending or holding or taking any part in any camp, parade or procession.
