Gujarat Police Act, 1951
(1) Any Police officer specially empowered in this behalf by a competent authority may arrest without warrant for an offence specified in section 110. (2) Any Police officer on the information of any person in possession or charge of any dwelling house, private premises, or land or ground attached thereto, arrest without warrant any person alleged to have committed therein or thereon any offence punishable under section 120.
