Statutory text

Nothing in the Indian Succession Act, 1925, or in the Administrator General's Act, 1913, shall apply to intestate property which is dealt with by a Commissioner, under sub-section (1) of section 85, nor shall the provisions of section 10 of Regulation VIII of 1821 [of any corresponding law in force] likewise be deemed to apply to intestate property which is dealt with by a Magistrate under sub-section (1) of section 85.
