GPRA 46A — Tourist's permit.

Gujarat Prohibition Act (Bombay Prohibition), 1949

Statutory text

(1) The State Government may, by rules or an order in writing authorize an officer to grant [a tourist's permit] to consume, use and buy foreign liquor to a person who is a tourist.

(2) A tourist's permit may be granted for the period of the tourist's intended stay in the [State], but shall in no case be granted for a period exceeding one month.

(3) Such permits shall be available at such places as may be [fixed] by the Directors in this behalf.
