to provide for establishment of sub-campuses for serving a group of colleges, and also to provide for and maintain common resource centres in such sub-campuses in the form of post-graduate departments, multi-disciplinary or inter-disciplinary schools, libraries, labouratories, computer centres and the like centres of learning and skills training, as per the guidelines laid down by the State Government or by the University Grants Commission (UGC);
