Gujarat Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1973
Where an order of demolition of a building under section 9 has been made, the owner of the building or any other person having an interest therein shall demolish that building, within the period mentioned in sub-section (3) of section 9; and if the building is not demolished within that time, the prescribed authority shall demolish the building and subject to the provisions of section 49 sell the materials thereof.
