(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code, an appeal shall lie from any judgment, sentence or order, not being a interlocutory order, of a Special Court to the High Court. (2) Every appeal under sub-section (1) shall be preferred within thirty days from the date of the judgment, sentence or order by the accused. (3) In computing the period of limitation, the provisions of sections 4 and 12 of the Limitation Act, 1963 shall, so far as may be, apply.
