The Sessions Judge should endeavour to bring on record in the medical evidence, the details about the nature and dimensions of the injury. It should be clearly brought on record as to whether the injury was ante-mortem or post-mortem and as to whether it was possible by a particular weapon and which external injury corresponded with the particular internal injury and as to whether the injury or injuries either individually or cumulatively were sufficient in the ordinary course of nature to cause death.
