Oaths and affirmations to witnesses should, as required by section 4 of Act X of 1873, be administered by the Courts themselves or by an Officer empowered by them in that behalf. Under the provisions of section 7 of the aforesaid Act, the Honourable the Chief Justice and Judges are pleased to prescribe the following forms for the administration of oaths and affirmations :—
