(1) Form No. 46 should be used by Criminal Courts in recording the evidence of witnesses. It is not permissible to record that a "witness deposes as the last did." The deposition of each witness must be taken down separately and every deposition should be commenced on a separate page or half page. If the accused declines to cross examine, it should be so stated. (2) If the witness cannot tell his or her age, the Presiding Officer should state how old he or she appears to be.
