In cases of conviction under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, the Courts should bear in mind the requirements of section 20 (4) of the said Act, read with Rule 18 (3) of the Bombay Motor Vehicles Rules, 1959 and scrupulously follow the provision for sending intimation to the licensing authority by whom the driving licence has been issued and also by whom the same has been last renewed, in all cases where the driving licence is endorsed or an order of endorsement is made by the Courts.
