(a) On all working days the Courts will sit for disposal of the judicial work from 11-30 a.m. to 5-30 p.m. with a recess for an hour between 2-30 p.m. and 3-30 p.m. (b) The Judicial Officers will attend to administrative and other miscellaneous work from 11-00 a.m. to 11-30 a.m. and 5-30 p.m. to 6-00 p.m. and should be available in the Court precincts from 11-00 a.m. to 6-00 p.m. (c) The Sessions Judges, except the Sessions Judge, Ahmedabad City and the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate may, with the previous permission of the High Court, alter the hours prescribed above for any Court under their control but so as not to reduce the total number of working hours in the week. (d) The Court hours and the office hours for the Court of Session, Ahmedabad City, shall be as per the Court and office hours prescribed in the Ahmedabad City Civil Court Rules, 1961.
