The provisions of appeal to the Court of sessions are found in sections 372 to 376, 382, 387, 389, 391 and 394, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The Sessions Judge, Additional Sessions Judge and the Chief Judicial Magistrate, who have the powers to hear the appeal should strictly follow the provisions of the said sections.
