Gujarat High Court Criminal Manual (subordinate court practice), 1977
Every criminal appeal or revision application sent to the High Court from a prisoner in jail shall contain a statement that no appeal or revision application in the same matter has been previously fil d, and the officer in charge of the jail shall see that such a statement is made in the memorandum of appeal or the application before sending to the High Court.
