In cases where the execution of writ involves the release of a prisoner in jail as well as the refund of a fine, the return should only certify the release of the prisoner, if it is found that the fine cannot be refunded for a period of 15 days after such release. The fact of the refund of the fine in such cases may be subsequently certified by a separate letter in continuation of the original return.
