(a) After an accused person has made a confession, he should ordinarily be committed to jail, and the Magistrate should note on the warrant, for the information of the Superintendent of the Jail concerned, that the accused person has made a confession. (b) The accused person who refuses to make a confession should not be authorised to be detained in Police custody.
