The Registrar is the Officer appointed in Sessions Courts, Ahmedabad, the Clerk of the Court is the Officer appointed in every Sessions Court and the Sheristedar is the Officer appointed in the Court of the Metropolitan Magistrate, to certify and deliver copies of all criminal records, subject to the control of the Sessions Judge or the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, as the case may be, within the meaning of section 76 of the Evidence Act.
