Registers serve as index, as also guide to all concerned and if they are not properly maintained, the purpose would not be served. It may be difficult and practically impossible to know the facts and trace the papers in future. Thus, the importance of proper maintenance of Registers should be impressed upon all concerned. The Registers should be maintained regularly and all columns should be carefully filled. The Registers should be written in a neat and tidy manner.
