(a) The following rule in respect of fees of Chartered Accountant or his qualified Assistant for giving expert evidence in Criminal Courts, under Government Notification, Home Department No. 3923/7, dated 3rd July, 1954, is reproduced: (1) The fee to be paid to Chartered Accountant or his qualified Assistant for each day spent in attending a Court or in travelling for the purpose of attending a Court as a witness shall be as specified in column 2 or 3, as the case may be, of the Schedule appended hereto in accordance with the professional standing for the years as specified in column 1 thereof.
