Hindu Marriage Act, 1955

Statutory text

(1) This Act may be called the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
(2)  It  extends  to  the  whole  of  India

***,  and  applies  also  to  Hindus  domiciled  in  the  territories to which this Act extends who are outside the said territories.
