When anypartner in a registered firm alters his name or permanent address, an intimation of the alteration may be sent by any partner or agent of the firm to the Registrar, who shall deal with it in the manner provided in section 61. STATE AMENDEMT Maharashtra. Amendment of section 61 of Act IX of 1932—In section 62 of the principal Act, for the words “may be sent” the words “shall be sent, within a period of 90 days from the date of making such alteration,” shall be substituted.
