MVA 108 — Certain powers of State Government exercisable by the Central Government

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

Statutory text

The powers conferred on the State Government under this Chapter shall, in relation to a corporation or company owned or controlled by the Central Government or by the Central Government and one or more State Governments, be exercisable only by the Central Government in relation to an inter-State route or area.
Corresponding Law. - Section 108 corresponds to section 68 - J of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939.
Objects and Reasons. - Clause 108 makes provisions for the Central Government to exercise certain powers of the State Government in relation to an inter - State route or area, relating to certain cases.
