Statutory text

The  holder  must,  if  so  required  by  the  drawee  of  a  bill  of
exchange  presented  to  him  for  acceptance,  allow  the  drawee

[forty-eight]  hours  (exclusive  of  public holidays) to consider whether he will accept it.
