Registration Act, 1908

Statutory text

(1) This Act may be called the *** Registration Act, 1908. [ (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir:

Provided that the State Government may exclude any districts or tracts of country from its operation.] (3) It shall come into force on the first day of January, 1909.
